I'm Jamie

I've had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. In high school I learned the tricks of the dark room trade, in college I studied photography in Rome under an Italian photojournalist, and I hold a B.A. in Visual Communication. 

Making photographs has always been a passion of mine, but making it a career has been the greatest thing in the world. In mid 2015, I jumped ship at my corporate job to pursue wedding photography full time. It felt like leaping out of an airplane and not knowing if your parachute was going to deploy.  

Sometimes taking chances can be magical.

I've photographed weddings & couples all over Maine, throughout New England, New York City, Texas, and internationally. My style of imagery is photojournalistic in nature with a fine art aesthetic. I love natural light, and I love to shoot with film.

Love is everywhere. I love to document it.
