This editorial shoot was brought to life out of a longtime dream I had of creating a canvas inspired by the art of Andrew Wyeth, specifically his famed piece “Christina’s World.” Living in the midcoast we are surrounded by beautiful beaches rimmed with yards and yards of dune grass that turns from green in the summer to deep gold in the fall and winter. This lent itself perfectly to Wyeth’s color palette in many of his works. Danielle McGee of Good Lookn’ events aided in bringing this shoot to life, styling the table, desserts, and other aspects of the shoot. Florals were mainly foraged from the roadside - bringing a creative team together for shoots like this never ceases to amaze me. There is so much inspiration and reward in collaboration.
